Duet is independently owned and operated by social media strategist Ashleigh Pierce. I connect with business owners to help grow their awareness, build real community with their audience, and improve their online discovery.

I am a digital marketing professional with nearly a decade’s worth of experience in media and communications. After receiving my bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Cincinnati (go Bearcats!), I began my career leading a decades-old boutique agency specializing in radio and TV. During my five-year tenure, I learned the ins and outs of traditional media while simultaneously establishing new digital marketing services, including social media, email marketing and website management. From there, I expanded my skill set at a brand strategy and creative agency as the senior digital marketing manager—leading multiple client accounts—and honed my skills as a social media strategist.

I created Duet to allow myself the freedom and flexibility to partner with clients I align with. I care deeply about the work I put out and delivering results for my clients, and in turn, I enjoy working with people and businesses who value these same things. Perhaps the thing I love most about working in social media is the ability to connect with people—to truly forge relationships through building and nurturing an online community. Social media allows the opportunity for consumers to intimately know you + your brand, and in return, you gain a better understanding of who they are and what they want.

Born and raised in Northern Kentucky, I’ve lived in Cincinnati’s historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood since 2016. Living in this community has allowed me to be at the forefront of one of our city’s most dynamic neighborhoods, and I’m a trusted guide by friends and family for what to do, where to eat, and what’s new. I'm proud to support fellow business owners who contribute to our neighborhood's diversity and vibrancy, and I am an active member of the OTR Chamber of Commerce. I love exploring each of Cincinnati’s diverse neighborhoods, and there is always something new to discover. I also love to travel and experience different cultures, to learn about the world and hear new perspectives, and I care deeply about my community.
